We know that mid-career scientists and engineers ("S&Es") play a crucial role in the team science endeavor at Berkeley Lab. We also know that mid-career S&Es are seeking more community and career development opportunities.
Recognizing this, Career Pathways is launching new career development support specifically designed by and for the Lab's mid-career scientists and engineers.
We welcome participation from scientific staff including but not limited to: research scientists, staff scientists, senior scientists, scientific engineers, engineering professionals, CSEs, SEAs, and policy and technology researchers.
To join the community and receive monthly updates on mid-career programming and development opportunities, we encourage you to sign up for the listserv.
Quarterly discussions and coffee hours will begin in 2026. Join the listserv and stay tuned!
We are piloting individual and team consultations to support S&Es with their career goals and transitions.
Our new Advisory Board will begin meeting in Fall 2025 to advise on our new programs and resources.
